Art of Bombing Podcast Live Recording at Big Beaver Brewing

If there was a tiny desk concert for comedy it would be the Art of Bombing live! It's one part stand-up comedy showcase and one-part podcast. Host Dan Bublitz Jr is joined by guest comedians to perform their best ten-minute sets, and then each comedian sits down with Dan after their set to share their worst bombing stories and what they learned from those experiences. This show proves that traumatic memories can be hilarious and that, no matter how experienced you are, sometimes it’s just not your night. This show features Ian John, Hannah Popkin, Nick Ellis, and Christina Tsurdinis.

About the Performers:

Ian John: Ian John just wants to make nice people laugh! He is a sober comedian who combines darkness with silliness, high energy, and fun. Most recently he has featured for Rich Vos, opened for Eddie Pepitone, performed at Madison comedy week, and was a guest on Eddie Pepitones “Live from the Bunker” podcast. He loves his wife very much, drives a 2005 Honda Civic and one day would like a cat or dog.

Hannah Popkin: Hannah Popkin is a standup comedian who was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Hannah’s love of complaining and talking with her hands translates to her exuberant energy on stage. If you are an audience member– watch out. Hannah loves crowd work and the crowds love to watch her. She performs throughout Colorado and co-hosts the show and accompanying podcast, Yikes!!, with fellow comedian Kelsey Rosen in Denver.

Nick Ellis: Nick Ellis is a Denver comic, barstool cleveland content creator, and just happy to be here.

Christina Tsurdinis: Christina Tsurdinis is a fresh new comic with a sarcastic wit that makes it tough to hide her East Coast roots. Christina credits her hot mess history for the stories and opinions she brings to the stage. When she’s not performing, you can find Christina hating her day job, hunting for a good thrift find, or trauma-bonding with strangers.
