LoCo Comedy & Big Beaver Brewing Present: Big Beaver Laffs & Drafts Comedy Showcase. Join us at the Big Beaver for a night of laffs and drafts! Hosted by Dan Bublitz Jr, the show features Colorado's best comedians along with nationally touring acts. This showcase features 4-5 comedians doing their best 15 minutes of jokes for a night that will guarantee to leave you in stitches and ease your gut-busting pains, Big Beaver will be serving cold drafts all night with a menu that features over 16 craft beers on tap.

About the performers:

Mitch Jones is a stand-up comedian, podcaster, aspiring voice actor, and avid pop culture enthusiast: Mitch Jones has been doing stand-up comedy since 2010 but he's been clownin' since day one. You may have seen Mitch at the High Plains Comedy Festival, in the commentary booth for Lucha Libre & Laughs, co-hosting the Broadcast Geeks podcast, performing all across Colorado, or as part of the No Country For Stoned Men Comedy Tour.

Jennifer Sutherland Like many comics, Jennifer was driven to comedy by unresolved childhood trauma. Her confessional style is “desperate to relate” but, like, in a cute way. She can be found performing with the sketch comedy group Learning and running the monthly standup show Clean-ish Comedy. She’s performed at Cowtown Comedy Festival, and breweries... so. many. breweries.

Caroline Harkin is a comic out of Laramie, WY. She books and performs at a charming local dive, The Ruffed Up Duck, and has inserted herself and her comedy into several Wyoming-based music events including What Fest. She has opened for Kyle Kinane and also has probably used the word genitals on stage 100+ times. 

Linus Leas Linus Leas is a Cambodian American comic who started comedy in Asia doing shows for ex-pats and locals alike. He was a featured performer for the comedy group “Shenzhen Now” and most recently, the Boulder Comedy Festival. Along with his unique experiences of what it means to be an Asian American in America, and abroad, he provides a unique take on the world to the stage.

Dan Bublitz Jr is a comedian known for his one-man show, It Was Supposed to Be A Love Story by Lights Out Productions and his Dry Bar Comedy Special Use Your Imagination by Angel Studios. Dan has appeared in films & commercials and his comedy has appeared on Comedy Time TV, Pandora, Spotify, and Amazon Prime. During his career, Dan has performed at numerous comedy festivals including the Plano Comedy Festival and the  Albuquerque Funny Fiesta. Dan’s comedy style is upbeat storytelling sprinkled with silly one-liners. He is the creator and host of the comedy podcast the Art of Bombing, where he interviews other comedians about what they have learned from horrible shows. When Dan is not performing at clubs and venues across the country, he enjoys his time at home with his dogs Gizmo & Tello, his cat Hugo, and his wonderful partner Tara.
